It depends on the temperature of your room, but likely 2.5! I've bought a gro egg so I can keep an eye on the temp and choose accordingly.

How many swaddles are people planning on buying?

I’ll be doing 2.5 tog as we have the heating on and can always do extra layers if need be

@Amy I’d say 2-3 per size, can spread across different togs but they spit up or leak so easy on them in the early days and don’t dry as quick in winter x A bit annoying because they’re expensive and can grow out of them quickly

I believe you can’t do more than 2.5 in newborns.

@Keris wouldn’t it be great if there was a list of exactly how much of everything you need, I’m just trying not to excessively buy and hoping for the best, I’m sure I’ll soon find out if I’m short of something 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Amy I suggest you buy x1 2.5 tog initially. And you can get another if necessary. My 1st baby was not a sicky baby, she did not have leaks from her nappy and she also hated sleep sacks!! So the 1 I had went to waste. Generally it makes sense to get the minimum you need initially and then when your little one is here, you can go on cute shopping trips to get additional bits. Or if you need things suddenly, and online order works!!

Also to add if you’re buying more than 1, but different kinds. My daughter loves the tommee tippee ones but hated the love to dream x
