Your imagination. But also self pleasure and doing stuff like on your own isn’t also looked down on. Like you and your husband are supposed to do stuff together. Not on your own

Thanks ladies. I was advised during marriage counselling to explore my own body so I can learn my likes and dislikes but it feels a bit silly. And just to say, I HATE porn anyway.

Do you have a Christian counselor because I don’t think many Christian counselor would suggest that.

Oh dear!! Sounds all good to say that but that’s vain imagination that time you spent doing that you could have been talking to your husband about it and actually connecting. And at times things like that lead to lust and dissatisfaction from actual sex. Masturbation was used by pagans and their pagan gods to make themselves feel empowered and in control… so much more but let’s not get too carried away. lol Talk to your husband about it and pray about it together. I pray that God leads you and that his voice you will follow and not anyone’s.

So here's the thing, until you know what feels good on your body, it's impossible to tell him. But a better alternative is to pause all intercourse and learn your own foreplay. Meaning, have some super awkward sessions of touching and rubbing each others body's and your own. You can also do it alone first, but that's to your own conscience. God allows us to use our own will, and this is something I've been on both sides of. At one point I felt free to do solo stuff and I preferred being with my husband. Then the season changed and God made it clear that I didn't need to things solo anymore. I was idolizing it.... But that's your choices to make!
