Placenta previa
At my 20 week scan I got told that my placenta is covering my cervix, and that they would rescan me at 28 weeks hoping it will have moved, and they couldn’t see it due to babies head being in the way (he’s head down), so they want to scan me again at 32 weeks. I wasn’t given any information about what placenta previa is or what I need to avoid at either of my appointments, I googled it and it said to avoid having sex. No one informed me of this, or the risks of placenta previa.
I’m currently 29 weeks I went for a 4D scan yesterday and the lady told me that my placenta is still completely covering the cervix. I’m a little bit gutted because I really don’t want a c-section, especially because I’ve already had to have major surgery this year.
Has anyone else experienced this in a pass pregnancies and had the placenta move this late on?

I got told the same thing hun 🤍 try not to worry there’s still soooooo much time for it to move. I’d definitely try doing some hypnobirthing to prepare yourself incase you do have the have a section. Baby will come no matter the outcome ❤️ it’s what I’ve been doing. Feels like a life time till I have my 32 week scan to see if mines moved. Google said the same thing to me, however they didn’t mention that at my scan just to call triage if I have any bleeding. You’ll be okay 🥰 xxx
I I as told this at 20 weeks and it had moved at 24 weeks!
I was told the same at 20 weeks and they aren’t re-scanning me until 32 wks. Had it in my second pregnancy and it had moved 🙂 I really don’t want a c section either 🤞
