The name Jemima

Jemima is my friends nickname, I think it's beautiful 😍

Not hate meant- but if you love Mimi why not just Mimi?

I like the name Jemima, but picking a name for a mock name they may not want to use, is not a good idea in my opinion.

I'm not choosing it specifically because it shortens to Mimi, I just like that as an abbreviated name. With my first daughter Paloma, people always say "what can you shorten it to?" So I just was mentioning it because of that

In my opinion, name the baby what you want, abbreviations or not. To me you said you love mimi but you didn’t comment on Jemima. If you’re having doubts about Jemima, I would keep looking until you’re certain you love it

I love the name! However we picked the name Oliver, my partner loved the name and I liked Ollie and said I would call him that. I’ve not once called him Ollie and now he doesn’t seem like Ollie to me just Oliver 😂
