Pet Peeve

How can I tell my bf politely how much it irritates me when he chews with his mouth open and to stop it. It makes me so mad, I don’t even want to be near him when he eats. It’s just gross.

Hun. You know all of my senses are heightened due to being pregnant so I’m more sensitive to things than I was before. I love to enjoy eating with you but you chewing with your open makes it difficult. This is as nice as I could even think of saying it. This has been my ultimate pet peeve since a child. I would say something to my dad at dinner so much that it was known that we couldn’t eat near each other or an argument was going to happen. I’ve stopped dating guys because of how they ate on a date. You might have to tell him multiple times before he gets it. Hopefully you don’t because it’s hard to say it nicely when it pisses you off so much

I don’t even think I could be nice about it but then again I’ve been with my husband for 8 years lol!
