Tested worked on 3rd try

I was 29 he was 31, first round, 13 eggs fertilized ended up with 3 day 5 embryos, all untested, one 5AA put back as a frozen transfer, worked first time

3rd transfer and 4th embryo (one was a double transfer) to finally get my daughter. My first cycle didn’t go great, only 2 poor quality embryos. My second cycle the fresh transfer worked but resulted in a miscarriage.

@Danielle I am so sorry for your loss Happy to hear that you have your little rainbow baby girl now 🌈

I was 28 when my eggs were retrieved. Based on my age, egg quality, and number of blasts, I opted not to test. First transfer was a success and I’ll be 30 weeks on Wednesday!

What grade was your successful Embryo?

4aa :)

Here is an excrement article on the grading https://www.sensiblesurrogacy.com/quality-grade-of-embryos/

Started ivf when I was 33. Have been pursuing an embryo banking strategy to boost chances of having 2 or 3 kids. First egg retrieval August 2022 (when I was 33) got 6 blasts, not tested first and second transfer failed (5AA and 4AA embryos). First transfer was a fresh transfer and the second was a medicated FET Second egg retrieval March 2023 (when I was 34) got 3 blasts sent for pgt testing with the remaining 4 embryos from round one. Out of the 7 I had 4 euploid embryos. Transfers 3 and 4 (both 4BA embryos) resulted in a chemical and a missed miscarriage. 3rd transfer was a medicated FET and 4th was a modified natural FET 3rd egg retrieval in December 2023 (10 days after my 35th birthday) got 5 blasts, sent for testing and 4 were euploid. Currently 38 weeks pregnant after the 5th transfer (5AA euploid embryo and modified natural FET) In between retrievals and transfers I did multiple tests for uterine receptivity and immune issues and all came back clear

@A.R. Thanks for sharing, that's insightful. Do you ever found out, or deduced why the earlier transfers of the euploid embryos fail? Especially as you also did the other tests and they all came back clear. I'm really nervous now as we only have 1 euploid 5AB to transfer and had two other losses from trying naturally .
