Random “vent”?

I randomly came across my ex instagram page last night and me being nosey ofc I looked and I discovered that he lied about why he broke up with me, he was actually cheating on me and celebrated this girls birthday with her just days after breaking things off with me and had her around his family and now almost 6 years later they’re engaged lol This is just a random vent I guess because of the new discovery of being cheated on without knowing although at the time I did think the whole break up was a bit sketchy and unexpected, I’m not upset or feeling weird about it, we’ve both moved on I’m also married and have kids, there’s no hard or soft feelings from a relationship I’ve been out of for 6 years it was just like a “oh wow ok” moment lol

I was head over heels for this guy when I was 26,. we broke up because he was moving to a different state 16 hrs away to care for him mom . I was devastated because to me I felt he was the love of my life. He was even upset and crying about us having to break up. Well after 2 years of a grieving and missing him I obviously still missed him so I made a fake face book and added him . And found out the weekend he left to “go take care of his sick mom “ he was actually getting engaged. mean while during those 2 years he would call me and tell me he missed me , or that he was drunk and depressed over missing me . Meanwhile the whole time he left me to marry someone else . That shocked me to my core . And I still feel angry to this day about not being able to cuss him out about cheating and lying because I found out so late . I’m now 41 and married and if I think too much about it I get so sad.

People just plain suck, but good riddance! Things will only get better for you (if they haven't already!) 😁 My ex's current gf popped up on my sisters "people you may know" she got nosey and told me all about it, her profile includes her and my ex's anniversary date, it's 6 months after we got married 🤣🤔 we were married for over 3 years, I always suspected but never had real proof and was gaslighted until I decided to disappear and serve him divorce papers without a word. Its been over 6 years since I left and I'm doing infinitely better and have been since day one without him 😊
