Canines

My little boys canines are coming through they are still very low on his gum but he is really struggling at night and not eating much at all unless it's soft food. He has Calpol and nuerofen intermittently and he has teething powder. He is wanting more milk as he isn't eating much. Any tips would be really helpful ☺️

My daughter is same age and I'm so glad her last one just cut through few days ago, canines were a nightmare! Powder didn't work for us, we used anbesol water and it works instantly, you can use it as needed as many times as you need, at night soon as she started whining I'd put anbesol on her gums and she gone back to sleep almost instantly, also her favourite food is pasta so when she's refusing everything, she will eat pasta

But she compensate with milk as well, I don't think it's a problem

My boy started teething young and only waiting for his very back molars now, and let me tell you, those canines were the hardest ones for him! He really struggled with those ones, even more than the first molars. Lots of calpol, cuddles and tlc. When he was real bad I alternated between baby ibuprofen and calpol so that he could have something every four hours. As can only give both so many times during 24hrs. The anbesol liquid was the best teething stuff we’ve tried. Then kind of just let him eat and drink when he wanted and what he wanted tbh. Teething is so brutal on our little bubs; what a lucky baby you have to have a Mumma like you who just wants to take away his pain. Fingers crossed they come through soon x
