Maternity

I got 24 weeks, my husband, and will split it. He gets 20 weeks. I'll take the first 12 weeks, and then we'll be alternating months until he is 1 year old. They we'll place him in daycare like we did with our first.

I’ll place mine in daycare after 1, 4 months is too young to be in daycare and away from mom, plus I make less then the cost so no thank you.

Agree I feel like 4 months is too young. I didn’t have maternity leave I just quit. My manager was rude too and inconsiderate. Would complain if I sat down for a min. I wasn’t big yet but I still had pain.

Exactly daycare is too expensive. Like minimum wage is 15-16.50 most places still do 15 per hour. With taxes I got like 11 per hour which isn’t much. I just lucky from tips which I got a lot

@Nathalie oh no!! My manager was great, is currently but they switched insurances and it was a nightmare to navagiate, my pregnancy was emotional, to say the least, and I've outgrown the role, I just feel more and more there isn't a reason to put my baby through daycare if I don't have to.
