Potty training

Hi mammas Anyone still hasn’t started potty training their August baby yet officially? I tried, she always goes for the potty and takes her diaper saying wee wee but wouldn’t I sometimes have her naked from down but she doesn’t tell me when she wants to wee I sometimes have her on nappy as well She says wee wee whenever I am going to the toilet because she knows that’s what the toilet is for But wouldn’t tell me when she wants to wee wee or poo When I read posts here about most people almost or fully potty training their lo, I feel some kind of guilt( as a first time and a single mum)

I haven’t started yet, I sit him on the potty after a bath just to get him used to sitting on it but that’s as far as we’ve got so far. I’ve heard the average age is between 2 and a half and 3 and a half so don’t worry if she’s not getting it yet x

No we haven’t started - she’s showing absolutely no signs of being ready and I don’t think it’s worth rushing it x

We’ve not tried either as toddler doesn’t seem ready at all yet. I’m also not looking forward to the mess! Plus I’m having a c section in 10 days and we’re in the process of buying a new house so we have too much going on at the moment.

We aren’t trying yet (even though my in laws are putting on a stupid amount of pressure 🙄). She isn’t showing any signs and I’m in no rush. People say between 2 and a half and 3 is a good age.

We haven’t started yet either. I think if you start before they’re 100% ready it can be counter productive. We’ve only just started getting some proper sleep 😂so one thing at a time! Xx

We paused because my girl just doesn't have the communication s skills yet. Don't see the point in rushing her when she can't be fully independent til then anyway. She does sit and use the potty if you put her on and she needs to go though.
