I did! Really great experience. I gave birth with midwives but everyone else in the hospital was helpful. Most days pp I miss my time in the hospital
@Stacey when you have midwife.. can you still request epidural? And would you say it was a better experience than an obgyn ? (For The 9 month check ups etc)

Yeah, you can still get an epidural. I can’t speak on an OBGYN because I never had one but Id recommend getting a midwife. They take great care of you before, during and after. They respect your decisions all the way through, don’t try to influence you to do anything you don’t want to, they believe in minimal interventions, and even pp they came to my house a few days after birth to check on the baby and me. Everything went so smoothly I couldn’t ask for a better experience
@Stacey i am considering a midwife this time around as well and there is one that works with cotellucci hospital so they have their own "ward" apparently. Im not sure if the rooms are Private or not but as long as I feel SAFE and calm i think its ok.
Yes I gave birth there in May! Nurses were amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better team of nurses and doctors. Highly recommend and the rooms are super nice!
