Xonvea - did you wean off gradually or just stop taking?

I’m coming to the end of my pregnancy now (37 weeks) and have been taking Xonvea for HG since week 20. It’s stopped me physically vomiting when none of the other meds did, but I do still feel nauseous every day and have strong food aversions. I’m wondering if I should start trying to gradually reduce my dosage in the lead up to birth to reduce chances of withdrawal symptoms? Has anyone else done this? Or literally just stop taking them cold turkey once the baby is born? Thanks!

I think for majority of people, the HG symptoms stop as soon as you give birth so the meds won’t be needed Maybe speak your healthcare professional for further advice

I stopped them cold turkey when my baby was born. Thinking back, a lot of the symptoms I had in the days following (shivers, chills, and shakes) could have been in part due to doing that, but I’m not sure. I was told it was hormone overload from my milk coming in

I reduced them slowly and stopped taking Xonvea around week 36 I think. But was lucky that that was possible at that stage for me without throwing up again.

I stopped taking them once I’d given birth. I didn’t even think about them again once I was in labour. I had an emergency c section and remember sitting in recovery and all of a sudden, I realised I didn’t feel sick anymore! It was such a lovely feeling, albeit coupled with a recovery.
