How are we all sanitizing our bottles?

Hey mamas! Due in February with our one and only and planning to exclusively formula feed. I know there are lots of different methods, boiling, dishwasher, bottle sanitizer machines, etc. what have you tried? What would you recommend? What would you avoid?

I exclusively pumped (way way harder than just bf or formula lol ) and with my second I just bf. When I used bottles and pump parts first time around I used a bottle sanitizer. Second time around I planned to pump…. So I bought a seperate dish washer for bottles and pump parts….. it helped so much!! Esp when I used bottles. I primarily bf now so I don’t wash much bottles… maybe 3 a day (for my 2 year old)

I bought mam bottles they’re the best in my opinion and you can sterilise them in the microwave 😊

Tommee tippee electric steam steriliser

Microwave steriliser

Milton cold water bucket

I have the sterilizer / dryer but wish I would’ve bought the one that washes too. It’s so much work

I have mam bottles and use either microwave or cold water(Tescos version of Milton is much cheaper!). I found that the microwave turned the teats a weird colour but is great when I didn't have any tablets but cold water takes 15 mins so a lot quicker to do x

Milton cold water bucket, we also have a steam steriliser but much prefer the cold water Milton one! So convenient 😍

Cold water milton. Our bottles can sdlf steralise on microwave but rarely bother

We bought a UV steriliser, and honestly, it’s one of the best pieces of baby kit we bought! Worth every penny. It sterilises in 2 minutes and without the need to use chemicals that smell terrible or wait for anything to cool down to use it. Combined with the Nuby Rapid Cool it was a godsend when we had a tiny hungry baby!

I want to do the Milton tabs but I live in the US and the tablets are twice the price be the UK 😞

I liked boiling the best. Every once in awhile I still do to my 20 month old sippy cups

Tommee tippee electric steriliser! And you can always do the bottles in the microwave!!

@Rachel the Milton tabs are more expensive, but you don’t have to rinse after, like you do with most shop own brands, which was such a time saver for me 💛

Milton!
