Baby name spelling

I want to name my baby girl Sariah pronounced “Sa-rye-ah”. Having trouble finding what spelling to go with as I do not want it being pronounced “Sa-ray-ah”. Seems other spellings “Saraya” “Soraya” would not be pronounced to my liking. Please help, would you read Sariah as “Sa-rye-ah”? Also don’t want it to be confused with reading as “Sarah”.

I think I read Sariya as "Sa-rye-ah". It's less similar spelling to Sarah so less risk? Slight risk of "Sa-ree-ah" though. For Saraya or Soraya I'd pronounce them as "ray-ah" rather than "rye-ah".

Yes, that’s how I assumed it would be pronounced 😊

Sar-i-ah is how I would pronounce “Sariah” off just seeing it. But idk about others

Sariyah

My cousins cousin is called Sariah, and how you’d like it pronounced is naturally how I’ve always read it, so I would stick with that spelling.

I think most people would say suh-rye-uh with the Sariah spelling because it’s like Mariah with an S.

Sariah or like first comment Sariya think it looks nicer. Saraya I think people would pronounce the ray in it xx

Yep I totally pronounced Sariah as Sa-rye-ah! I’ve seen this name before, I think it’s so pretty! 💖

@Anna I thought Sariyah was a nice spelling but I do think it has a strong chance of reading as “Sareeyah” as opposed to Sariah

I’ve only seen it spelt Soraya before but Sariah definitely works and easy to figure out as it’s like Mariah

Sy’ria
