Need some advice

I’m on universal credit and they have found out I live with my partner and have made it clear I need to add him to my claim but he earns more so I wouldn’t get anything is there any way I can get around this

The only way is if he got paid in cash or asked for half of his wages in cash? As they can only take off from what you tell them he earns and obviously bank transfers they can ask for.

But he earns over £2,000 so I wouldn’t get anything plus I’m expecting our first child in less than 8 weeks

I’m in the same position it’s a joke ain’t it.

Thats strezsful how did they manage to find out?? Is there no way u can just declare him and just deal with the reduction in uc now that they knkw? Cos idk how ud go about keeping it from them now

@Tahirah he earns too much so I wouldn’t get anything from uc

Just say he doesnt live with you? That he stays 2 nights a week as your having a baby soon 🤷‍♀️ but not looking to moove him in yet? X
