In shock ! Will it pass?

We received the news we are expecting twins. This was definitely a planned pregnancy (ivf, single embryo transfer) but it split in two and now we are expecting identical twins. My husband is over the moon but my first thoughts were absolute horror and worry.. we already have a 3 year old. Can we afford this?does this mean the end of my career? what will this do to my health and body? if we struggle with one and barely have our own lives how can we cope with three?.. anyway just venting. Has anyone gone through this and did you finally enjoyed your pregnancy ?

You'll figure things out. Try learning coding. You can work from home for that. You can still work their is funding for working parents if both parents work from 8months onwards.

Awwww congratulations. I had twins in December and they’re the best. Don’t get me wrong it’s really hard work but it’s so special just wait till you see the bond they have.

I am in the same boat! The panic will subside and you will enjoy it. Parents always figure it out so don’t worry and just enjoy the ride! ❤️

I'm still in shock and I'm nearly 18 weeks lol it's so lovely to see on the scan pics though. And like the comment above we always seem to work it out as parents don't we 😊 congratulations though xxxx

I love having twins personally. Expensive yes but not as terrible as people think

So my LG was one of 2, exactly the same, embryo split into two, but at our 9 weeks scan only one had a hb. We had the EXACT same thoughts though and freaked out (I found out it was twins at around 4/5 weeks) firstly, it'll be okay, you will fully figure it out. It'll require more support than just one bubba, and there for support groups etc for twin mummas and depending on where you live, there's government support too. But you're going to rock this mumma! Congratulations!
