Christmas Eve boxes

Hey, so I will have a 4 month old by Christmas. I would like to start the tradition of a Christmas Eve box (all my sisters have, my mum has done them for all of us to).Christmas Eve is made a bigger deal than Christmas Day in our family so these little traditions are special to us. I have got comments from my friends saying “he won’t remember it so why are you doing it” which annoys me. Anyway… I need some ideas for his this year. I have got Christmas Eve pyjamas, a little personalised Christmas Eve book but my mind has totally gone blank. My sisters can’t remember what they put in there children’s at this age. Any ideas please! Xx

What about a 1st Christmas 2024 bauble to go on your tree?

Maybe some rattle toys or bath toys, my baby girl will be just over 1 month and I’m doing a Xmas Eve box and so far I’ve got a couple of rattle toys and a play mat and Christmas pyjamas other then that I’m stuck on what else to get

"My 1st Christmas" blanket. Santa/ rudolph Teddy or snuggle Jingle Bells to shake for santa (I hide ours and bring them out again each year)

@Madison rattle toys and bath toys is a good one! I think it’ll be more sentimental things that I can put in most years rather than the normal Christmas Eve box full of chocolates and things. I was thinking maybe a little Christmas dressing gown to, not sure yet tho!

My daughter was 4 months when it was her first Christmas, I did her a Christmas eve box too. From memory I did pj's, book, bath book, reindeer comforter, little Christmas socks 🥺

A “that’s not my Christmas book” Or you can get personalised Christmas books where you name the characters after your child and that would be a nice keepsake Also a Father Christmas plate for treats One that he can reuse each year xx

Toys, blankets, teddys, maybe maybe something personalised. I’m going to get my little one to pick out a tree ornament each year too so maybe you can have one in there Xmas Eve box so they can hang it Xmas Eve
