Baby eczema what helped you?

My baby has had eczema patches for some time now. The Dr prescribed us betamethasone for eczema but my baby is only 5.5 months old… the pharmacist scared me and sent a note to the doctor to clarify. Please, share experience on what helped your child at that early age.

Baby eczema could be related to dairy

La Roche lipikar products. Soap and moisturizer

I’m breastfeeding and I stopped dairy and that made the biggest difference. He also stopped spitting up a lot. I’m still waiting for an appointment to determine if he has an allergy. I also used a probiotic drop for gut health, a probiotic ointment for the dryness/flaking and Grahams eczema lotion for moisturizing. If you can’t get grahams (I order it online from Australia), I recommend the Everden eczema cream. I personally use the grahams products so it’s easy to order for me. I tried the Everden and it worked also but I find it’s too pricey for a small amount of product but it is more accessible.
