Help

I’m struggling to find the best routine for my little girls hair. I’m a black mom and her dad is white. When she was first born, she had straight hair, she’s now 7 months and still has it when dry but I started to use the product I use for my hair on hers ( Reagan Sanai ) to help keep moisture in her hair as it was constantly frizzy. We’ve used for a month and my daughter’s hair is now falling off badly. Pictures attached in the comment. I feel so sad that I have damaged her hair

She’s very young I wouldn’t put products in it at this stage, products intended for adults are too harsh for children’s hair and can cause hair loss. If you want to use something, my little coco range is good or nalas baby x

@Ashley thank you . The only reason I did use the product was because it said it’s from 6 months, I know better now. Which do you prefer of the my little coco and nalas? Thank you

They’re both pretty similar really, I get whatever’s on offer at boots, I’m not too fussy 😅 I’m now sharing products with my son, he’s 2 and a half. Don’t worry it’s normal for baby hair to fall out, my sons thickened up around 1 years old but he had bald patches for ages x

It might be that her head grew not her hair falling out. Hair growth cant keep up with head growing in size so hair looks less til it catches up.

I wouldn't do much of anything with her hair right now as shes still so young and her hair is still coming in. Hair loss for babies can be pretty common. Some babies will shed their "baby hair" before their hair starts to thicken up. My daughters hair hair didn't thicken up till ten months. Thats when I started using a leave in conditioner. Your baby looks to have a fine hair texture, if so you'll want curling products that are for curls and also for fine hair texture. Course or Kinky hair products will weigh a finer texture down and make it greasy. Your doing a great job!!
