Starting work and nursery tips

Hi all! My boy is starting nursery in two weeks but fortunately I don't start work until January. Just wondering how people manage to get ready and leave the house so early for both mum and baby 🙈. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! At the minute I have visions of me turning up to work with no makeup, birds nest on my head and still in my pajamas 😂😂😂 What makes your morning go smoother?

I just try to get up at 6.15 to get washed & at least half ready before my LO wakes up give him his bottle then get him ready to drop off at nursery for 8. Make sure you pack his nursery bag night before so thats done

@Laura I have an early waker so he's up at 6-6.30am 🤦🏻‍♀️otherwise this would be my plan. Hopefully one day he'll start sleeping in a bit c

Do as much getting ready the night before as you can! Have a shower, lay clothes out for you and baby, have the nursery bag packed and at the front door, pick something quick and easy for breakfast or something you can take on the go x

@Rebecca reuben gets ip between 6.30-7 i do make my partner help in the morning to cos we both need to get ready for work but plus side if you lilttle ones having breakfast at nursery you dont need to worry about that i just give reuben a bottle when he wakes then gets fed at nursery but just try have everything sorted the night before your clothes, theirs etc you will get into the swing of it all xx

Thanks everyone! I'm dreading the morning rush after nearly a year of slow mornings! X

We’re the same as above, get as much ready the night before! On the mornings I work my partner gets up half hour earlier so he can help with our little girl. If she wakes earlier and neither of us are ready, we just let her roam around playing upstairs until we are ready to then start everything with her
