Pottery painting

Me and my friend are planning to do this and I was thinking of bringing my one year old girl so I can do her footprint but has anyone brought their lil ones with them before? How difficult is it because they obvs don't sit still anymore so I'm debating whether I should bring her or not!

I did it with my friend a few weeks ago and personally I can’t imagine having my one year old there 🤣. I just don’t think it would have been enjoyable for me in the slightest. I had a lot of fun doing it with my friend and having to chase after and constantly keep an eye on my LB I think would have been very stressful. We’ve done handmade pottery at home with him and painting as a messy play

I probably wouldn’t take her if you are wanting to paint something as well, trying to keep an eye on her as well. I got my son done a week ago at a keepsake event at a playgroup. I just gave him a snack 😅 hand & footprints came out really well. I only managed to get a photo of the hand prints what were done

Make a salt dough recipe at home and make the prints this way, it's what we did and it worked really well 😀

I did it last Christmas when my baby was 4 months so it was very manageable 😂 but you definitely will be able to do a hand/footprint with your one year old. But as above, if you want to spend a while there it may be a bit more tricky, especially if they get bored!
