@Agnes omg that's terrible. I feel for you girl, have you tried any plant forms of iron? I started eating a lot of dhal made with red lentils, spinach and a squeeze of lemon, beetroot salad that kinda thing. That might be a bit easier on your tongue
@Atalanta (at•lanta) 🫶🏻🫶🏻 Funnily enough I only started having iron issues after I moved to Australia, in Brazil we eat rice and black beans for lunch and dinner everyday, I’m definitely gonna start eating it everyday again I think plant based iron sources are easier absorbed by my body.
@Agnes mmm that makes sense everyone is different but I know plant based iron sources work well for me so that's always my go to. Hope it works for you 🤞🏾
Oh man that's so annoying. Is the problem more that you're not absorbing the iron properly? Pairing it with vitamin C helps. I'm literally on my way right now to get my levels tested to see if I need an infusion 😂🙈
