Acts of kindness

I went to a very small event at a park nearby tonight with my daughter (husband was at work) and as we were walking from the park entrance to the event, a couple of women walked by and one of them asked if I wanted her to take a picture of me and my daughter for me. I thought that was such an incredibly kind offer as we moms tend to have so many less pictures of us and our kids that aren't selfies. Little acts of kindness can really brighten a day 🥰

That is so sweet no one’s ever done that and I think I would be so caught off guard but it would make my day❤️ I’m sure she made sure it was a great picture

@Heidi I was actually taken by such surprised that I said no 😭😭😭 That had never happened before (aside from my best friend asking to take one for me at the zoo lol but that's way different than a stranger in passing!)

@Stephanie oh no you should’ve taken her up!! I feel that though I would’ve unless she said she insisted then I’d be like okay yes you’re right😂 next time def say yes we all need more candid and overall pictures with our babies!

Too many times the photographer and not the focus!

@Heidi I 100% will next time! Even if at first I instinctively say no again, I'll swallow my emberrassment and be like "actually, sorry, yes please!" Cause I realized I had said no and then was too embarrassed to backtrack on it 😅

Omg, that is a beautiful thing to offer. I'm going to start offering that for other moms. I'm thankful my hubby sneaks photos of just the 2 of us. Today were celebrating our 4 year anniversary so I'll ask someone to take our photo and 1 of the family.
