Pregnancy and high needs baby

I’ve read there could be a link between prenatal stress and high needs babies. How was your pregnancy and what is your baby’s temperament like now

I also had Hyperemesis with both but significantly worse first time round, my first pregnancy was awful plus we got married, moved house and lost my grandfather during those 9 months too. My first baby was, and still is, very high needs! My July baby is easier but not sure if he actually is or if it just feels like it because my first was so hard! X

My last 2 pregnancies went very smoothly and both babies have been super chilled and easy.

I had hyperemesis and a complicated pregnancy. But my baby has been good xx

Very complicated pregnancy, waters broke at 28 weeks. Extremely stressed whilst pregnant - very super chill baby but was premie nicu baby at 35 weeks First born - stressful pregnancy, very traumatic birth and she screamed daily from the day we took her home and never slept and always needed comfort. I suppose in some ways in can be linked but not 100% xx

My first pregnancy was low risk and no complications but very complicated birth led to us both very poorly and my son was in the NICU even though born at 41 weeks. He was a hard baby and screamed all day and night. (Colic, reflux and is also Other medications for longer term conditions). Second pregnancy, high risk, constant appointments and scans and worries. He’s the most chilled out soul around 💙💙💙💙

My life while pregnant was extremely difficult and complicated, highlights include being homeless, my dad dying and baby’s dad leaving at 30 weeks but my pregnancy itself was fine. My baby is pretty chilled out most of the time except for a bit of colic and trapped wind.

I had over 70 appointments during my pregnancy along with hospital stays so I'd say it was very stressful, my LB is such an easy baby

I was very stressed during pregnancy and my baby is relatively easy going 😊

Fairly smooth pregnancy and high needs baby 🙈🤣 although he's 17 weeks now and really chilled out

I had hypermesis which lasted 22 weeks and pregnancy complications making it a very stressful pregnancy. I now have the most super chilled baby ☺️ just so content and chilled, always been that way. It feels like a gift after a rough pregnancy!! X
