Should I look through his phone

My husband left his phone at home and my step son gave me his phone password. I’m tempted to peek. He has given me no reason to not trust him. He provides for me. We just had a baby 3 months ago and we separated while I was pregnant, but we were restored month ago. We decided to work it out. We haven’t had sex. He hasn’t tried. I just think I just want to not look because it’s the right thing to do, but on the other hand I’m curious what’s in his phone.

Can I be toxic and say yes ? I go through my husband phone when is unattended lol he never gave me reason for not trust him but i always found something funny about him there

I think you should. I’ve been with my husband for 7 years and I looked through his phone recently and I feel devastated.. not saying that’ll be your case but if you feel like you should then do it

Look through aaall them messages, the deleted text folder, Uber/Lyft receipts, and any mobile payment apps Also why does your step son have his PW but you don’t?

@Fern Dratel if they have an iPhone- Open messages Go to Edit (top left) Show Recently Deleted A list of deleted texts will show. You just select which ones you want to read and hit Recover on the bottom right

Honestly look it's just a phone, I find it strange when people get all personal about it and hide their phones. It's a device to call people and take photos. I look at my fiancés phone all of the time to go through our photos etc xx
