Has any of you started your babies on cows milk?

Hi, My LO is 11 months old and she’s started to COMPLETELY refuse her bottles. I’m at my wits end, honestly. I know formula/breastmilk is their main source of nutrition until they’re 1, but I genuinely don’t know what to do? I’ve even resulted into feeding her with syringes, that’s how desperate I am. She eats really really well and drinks a lot more water now, but I just don’t know what to do. It’s only a month till she’ll be off formula so I’m not interested in playing with different milks, so I wanted to know if any of you give your baby cows milk? If you do, how much do you give them?

Have you tried giving her formula from a sippy cup or open cup instead of a bottle?

Yes @CeeCee she just throws the sippy cup. I have an open cup, a straw bottle, a nuby sippy cup with a soft teat, she just won’t have it 🥴

I am in the same position, part of me wants to start cows milk at 11 months as it is only 4 weeks before the recommended age. I read that it’s best to wean a baby gradually onto Cows Milk. Maybe adding it to the formula will encourage LO to drink. 1oz cows milk to 5oz formula/breastmilk. I hope it works out 🤗

Why didn’t I think of that @Brooklyn omg yes! The guidelines even say they can have up to 1oz as a taster. I’m def trying that!! Thank you so much xxx

My boy has warm cows milk in the munchkin 360 cup with his breakfast & then 6oz of formula in a bottle for bedtime

@Brooklyn how to offer them fresh milk x Like boil them or just straight ? X
