I need help please 🥺

I’m a stay at home mom / wife fighting my high blood sugar and got diagnosed as pre diabetic. And it’s driving me crazy anyone know how to cope with it .

Did they test you for type 1 diabetes? If they have not you need to demand it. I am a nurse and a type 1 diabetic who was diagnosed as an adult who got it from a virus. You can get type 1 diabetes from multiple viruses and pregnancy/birth. Advocate for yourself and demand a GAD65 test. It’s just a blood draw. It’s a send out lab so it will take a few weeks to get back but the treatment for type 1 diabetes and pre type 2 diabetes are very different. Message me if you have any questions! I was once you who was misdiagnosed with type 2 and so frustrated because no matter what I did my sugars were awful.

They said my A1C was normal but it was 5.5% and that I should be on a low carb diet because my blood sugar has been as high as 223
