Depends! My daughter loves water and it’s lovely to sing and expose to the splashing into the water to help desensitise to the water etc. I feel the songs etc are great and the noise from changing rooms will help future swimming trips. It’s exhausting for them! But in terms of actually learning much, I think until they’re walking and able to follow instructions they don’t really learn to swim until they are 2ish!?
We started swimming lessons from 6months with a school but I took him from 4months myself and he is comfortable swimming along with arm bands now
He been doing lessons since 8 months now he is in the water with him and the coach and an out her student and to be honest he is actually swimming now .
I've started my son two months back . I got to david lloyds as they give the children attention rather than the other swimming pools.
