Potty training

My daughter for about 2 months has been going to get a clean nappy when she poops, we bought a potty for her and she sits on it before a bath the past 3 times she’s either done a wee or a poo on it at what point does it not become a coincidence( while writing this she’s sat on the potty and done a poo) I feel like 16 months is a bit young.

We've started using the potty. Not pushing her but we bought it to just see. She has done poos and wees on it we put her on the potty every nappy change so she gets used to it. She now says potty and can sign potty which is helping with communication. She has hasn't got the idea of telling us she needs to go so your daughter is doing very well. I would continue with what your doing and just follow her lead 😊

My little girl gets a nappy every time she goes and I've also bought a potty and she understands she should wee on there but doesn't quiet get she has to sit on it xx

My little boy tells me when he’s pooped. I haven’t introduced his potty yet but I think after reading this I might. It’s when baby is ready it’s not an age thing. My other boy is 3 and a bit and he’s just not ready yet to potty train. They have to want to do it
