Having trouble communicating with my husband…
I don’t know if I’m alone? I say A he understands B. And then makes me look like I am dumb by making faces. I don’t know if it’s me that can’t communicate properly, or him?
Others can understand what I am saying. I am dyslexic so do make slight mistakes, but he knew this before we married. But I’m doubting myself.
It kills me inside. But I don’t know how to improve this

This is and my husband I swear 🙃 I'll let him know we need something but fail to communicate whose going to be in charge of getting it. It's so frustrating especially when you have a cold 😭😭😭😭

I think you both need to be patient with each other. If you misheard or miscommunicate, don't get annoyed with each other or be rude to each other.

Sometimes it’s as bad as just saying to each other leave it (when we can’t seem to get anywhere and it annoys him). If I was to give an example, I needed to buy shoes and a coat for the kids. We also need a hall way unit that stores shoes and coats. So he asked me if there’s a place for a ‘shoe and coat thing’ and I heard it as shoe and coat as we were outside, and I also have a cold so my hearings worse than usual. So I was trying to communicate where the shop is, obviously describing the wrong shop. And he was on about the house furniture and got annoyed.
