Because my Mum had pre eclampsia I had 2 extra growth scans + taking aspirin since week 12. Overall pregnancy has been really easy and smooth. Since last week (week33) suddenly out of breath and high blood pressure. So yeah now going 2 a week to hospital to check everything and taking medicine for high bp. I know how you're feeling 🙄 not too long now, hopefully everything will be ok and wishing you all the best with baby 😍🤗

I'm in the process of this also. I'm going tomorrow to speak with a consultant or something. I'm pretty scared and have no idea what to expect. Doesn't help that I have health anxiety. Any advice or anything is hugely appreciated too. Cause I'm mega stressed about this. 😔 Feel for everyone who goes through this. The mental drain is something else

Yeah I’m at a point where I’d rather forget the monitoring and have the baby with all the anxiety - I’m 37+3 so still a few weeks to go 😅 I’ve had protein show a few times (albeit they lost some of my samples!), swelling is so bad and blood pressure but keeps fluctuating. I don’t really have many headaches so might just be end of pregnancy stuff and not pre eclampsia but they aren’t sure so they are just monitoring twice a week so feels like a full time job with all the appts and bits as I’m still working myself! Went again today and was BP was quite high for me again and protein in urine so sending another sample.. hoping doesn’t get lost again! However that’s all they do so seems a bit back and forth! Hope everyone is feeling okay! X

@Laura if it's possible buy blood pressure monitor. This way you will be checking it at home whenever you feel like it. Look for signs like: high bp (140/90), headaches, blurry vision, swelling and protein in urine. Make sure on every appointment they check your urine. Try not to stress as it can raise your bp. I guess we need to trust doctors. I also packed my hospital bag in case of early something. At this stage we need to be prepared for certain things. And if you are not sure of something or feel not as usual call the hospital they are there to help. Good luck 😘
