Chipped tooth

Hello, My daughter 2 has chipped her front tooth it’s only a tiny bit you can’t notice unless you really look at it so I’m not to worried but I can’t seem to get a dentist??there all completely full for nhs patients I’ve been trying for about a month now and still no luck😩 anyone have any suggestions??

My brother was 3 and knocked his front tooth straight out - dentist said nothing he can do it’s a milk tooth and sent us home !

Hi, I’m a dental nurse. If it’s only slightly chipped and not causing any discomfort then it will be fine. Keep an eye out for any discolouration but ultimately there’s nothing we can do for baby teeth unless it’s sharp (then we could smooth it off) You should be able to register your child with the same practice you go to. Otherwise you need to call up and get her on a waiting list to become a NHS patient. She should be having regular check ups if she is 2 years old.

@Zara thank you so much! Her tooth hasn’t changed colour at all! We have just moved house about 2 months ago so I’m struggling to get both of us a dentist 😩 but hopefully I can get one soon ! xx

No problem. She should be absolutely fine. Keeping phoning up and ask to be put on a waiting list. Xx if you did need an emergency dentist you would need to call 111 x
