Maybe teething? Has anyone experienced the same symptoms?

I think my 4 month old is teething but I am not 100 % sure and wanted some opinions … his mood switched yesterday like never before. Very whingey, clingy, wouldn’t sleep in his bed from 1am onwards. He has been sucking on all fingers for about a week now and both his cheeks are red and warm (no temperature though, is this normal?). I can’t see anything coming through his gums. We have been giving him Calpol as recommended. He won’t take any teether. Any advice appreciated thanks !!

Sounds like it! Give him frozen/ cold teething toys.. calpol.. cold dummy.. teething granules. The lot. Once first one breaks, which takes a while, it’ll get better

I don’t know for sure either but when I tell you I could have wrote this about my 4 month old. Chapped cheeks and all. And he’s drooling like crazy.

Definitely sounds like it, my 4 month old suddenly has 2 teeth pushing through and she has all the same things you have described. Calpol is our saviour at the moment, hang in there Mama!

You could feel his gums and see if it feels like a tooth is ready to pop through.

Yes my 3 month old has been exactly the same although I can see the teeth ready as her gums are super white in lots of places, poor thing! x

All is same 😰 i got many teether . I think teeth problems is starting after 3 months
