Well, in india everyone has this experience as it is illegal to know the gender of the baby. And i was wondering and guessing throughout the pregnancy of what the gender might be. It might be a bit fun guessing. But you shouldn't fix your mind on any gender as it might disappoint you when the child is born. If you like surprises then go for it

We didn’t find out with my first and it was the best thing. I had such a long and horrible labour, but knowing I was going to find out who the baby was at the end was amazing. I’m expecting my second and keeping this gender a surprise again, I feel it makes it so exciting and it is one of the things in life you can have a true surprise on! I do also get why people can’t wait and like to find out as soon as they can, everyone has their own preference x

I’m 11 weeks first pregnancy and already decided we’re going to wait to be surprised. It natures real only surprise. Most of nursery decor is animals and pop of color and most important is healthy baby . However i understand, feelings to want to be more prepaid and settled in with as much information early on . And that might be need and good for some but if you feel that is not you and can run with the rollercoaster of waiting go for it . Don’t let others or expectations dictate your experience.

My friend has done that for her second and it’s been lovely to wait and see

We want it as a surprise but will find out for our daughter 🤣🤣🤣

We didn’t find out and it was the most amazing moment finding out, if we have more kids we’ll do the same again, I think it’s so special to have it as a surprise and I love everyone guessing 😂

We didn’t find out with any… and it’s just the best feeling… that surprise at birth is like no other… much more special than at a gender reveal

We didn’t find out and I liked it that way. There was no stressing about getting certain things because of the gender or pressure on settling on a name. After a long labour it was such a nice surprise to find out.

I’m 17 weeks with my first and we are going to keep it a surprise :) I’m excited for that but also super curious to see if I can tell at the next scan 😂
