Feeding baby on holiday

Taking my 9 months old on holiday for 5 nights and staying all inclusive but baby is too young to eat the food at hotel. What should I do just bring loads of pouches/jars or what? Recommendations / suggestions please.

At around then I was starting to introduce my kid to adult food, though making low salt choices. Some of his favourites at that age were bits of roast meat, steamed veggies, and rice for dinners, and things like fruit, bread, and scrambled eggs for breakfasts. He usually didnt have lunch as that was a bottle and nap time for him at that point

Tbh I was thinking she could nibble on some of the things at buffet especially some of the plainer options but was just thinking I don’t know how they would have prepared the food - I.e amounts of salt, oil etc

Well you have a tool that's been around for Millenia! Your taste buds! Get a scoop for yourself and taste it, and if you think it's not too salty, give kiddo some. If it's too salty don't feed it to them. Also you can ask one of the staff to point out low sodium friendly items as that's a normal thing a lot of adults have to ask for themselves too, they likely already know the answers or can offer special alternatives too, depending on the location

Maybe the hotel can provide you some no salt veggies! They are probably use to it

We went all inclusive at 6 months doing first tastes and it was great. We found out on the last day 🤦‍♀️ that they offer a ‘baby bowl’ at every meal if you pre-order, where the chef makes sure it’s all salt free so ask/book at reception for the week on the first day you arrive. As we didn’t realise until too late my little one ate all of the fruits/veg/meats/eggs straight from the buffet with no issues (rinse with water if you are worried about surface salt). We did avoid the prepared meals though because of potential salt content.

Also enjoy no cooking and clean up!!!! 😀🎉🎉
