Working days

Random question, but I am going back to work in March and reducing my days from 5 to 2, they have said I can choose which 2 days but I can’t decide between Tues & Wed or Wed & Thurs. I obv don’t want to work a mon or Friday. And I like the thought of the 2 days being together to get them done and Wednesday seems too late in the week to start my first day so I’m thinking Tues and wed but everyone I’ve talked to says they would choose wed and thurs! What would you pick? Help me choose lol

Hey Not the same but I work from home 2 days a week and chose wed and Fridays 😀

Could consider a few things, what classes-playgroups are on in the local area on Tuesday and Thursday? Or swimming or a local library open etc? That was my main factor when I decided. I personally would prefer a Thursday off because we do big weekends away so gives more leeway for going in the Friday morning or something. Does the working day affect your work (eg in our hospital we do different types of scans on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I could decide based on my work preference. Another random one but what’s on the nursery menu for them days, if it’s something your little one would eat better or worse that can help decide if its a coin toss decision and you don’t mind. 😂

I'm going back 2 days and going back Tues and Thurs so I can have a day in-between with my little one so gives him a break and it also gives me a long weekend too 😊

@Jo why did you decide to pick the wed and thurs out of them days?

Because Thursday is our big meeting day and Wednesday seemed a better option than Friday xx previously have worked like a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday elsewhere and always felt like you didn’t relax on the middle day as you knew you had to go back another day xx also had discussions with nursery to see what days they had xx
