Sudden refusal of potty

I've followed EC since my LO was about 8months and she was doing a lot of her business on the potty.... Until she got about 1yo and overnight she started refusing to sit on the potty. She's 14m now and it's just so frustrating. It's like we've never done the EC. Any advice?

We had resistence for a few weeks starting at 10ish months to about 12ish. Almost 14 months now and what has worked for the last month or so is to give him a lot of independence. I ask him if he needs to go and then he walks there with me. I take pants off while he stands. The only thing I do is lift him onto the toilet seat. Then I do something else in the bathroom instead of focusing on him. I just pass him toys he wants. We have a small stool so he could also get off alone which makes him feel more secure.

This podcast is a good resource if you don't already know, this is good for trouble shooting. I recently took my youngest out of diapers and he went from pooping once each day to consolidating and poops every other day or so, it made be nervous with my first when he got off his normal pooping schedule but I realize with just more experience that variation is ok and they don't have to poop at a certain pace. So it may be she wants to change things up and do it herself and you might need to accommodate that. I am not an expert so I can't tell you what that is but if you are curious there is also a book called Go Diaper Free and they have a great support group I've used, idk if you have to buy the book or not. Anyways, I found it a really helpful/worth it resource too.
