Baby has landed 🩵

Congratulations! My baby boy was also born on the 14! But he was 37 weeks old 😆 how are you doing?

@Christina that’s awesome congrats to you too mama! I’m feeling so happy honestly soaking in the newborn stage my family and my partners family all think baby boy looks like me it’s nice to hear haha. I’m still a little sore I had a slight second degree tear and I got the epidural so I’m still a little tender here and there but I’m recovering well everything is normal and I’m able to breastfeed which has been amazing for bonding with my baby I love it all. How are you doing?

@Bianca I'm doing pretty good! I was in early labor for a couple days but then my active labor was very fast 😅 I went from a 1 to an 8 in an hour and then transitioned in 30 mins and then pushed for 12 mins..... definitely an unexpected fast and furious delivery! But baby and I are both doing great-- no tears or anything thank goodness! We are still adjusting to balancing a newborn and a 9 year old with a full schedule 😅 but otherwise enjoying every moment

@Christina se that sounds lovely and my contractions had started 5 am Sunday I knew something was different about how they felt this is my first baby so I didn’t know what to expect. Around 7pm that night the contractions were super close and I was ready for some pain intervention I was a little nervous and nauseated I had soup and threw that up too lol I was holding off on getting the epidural til right before he came they told me get rest and I was like he’s knocking on my door I can’t hold it anymore if felt like such a relief once I finished pushing him out my midwife was amazing all the staff were super helpful made the experience 10x better

@Bianca my contractions started at 6 sunday morning! Funny! And I definitely understand that! I was sick with my first one 9 years ago and fully expected it again this time but thankfully wasn't. And I agree the staff made all the difference!
