Genetic dna testing ?
Hey. So we did the blood test and it turns out we are expecting a boy. HOWEVER, In a few platforms the theory has strongly suggested girl from various people.
I have a son already. He’s 13.
Can the dna be wrong ?
Just thoughts out of curiosity ….
I think it depends on when you did the testing. But I have read it can be 95-98% accurate. I have also heard from someone before that a false boy is rare because they get that from detecting a Y chromosome. I am not sure how accurate that is though as I heard it from a someone with no medical experience. Once you have a scan at 20 weeks they can confirm the gender.
