Second Guessing

We just found out we’re pregnant with #2. We are hoping for a boy but totally happy to being girl parents again. Ever since I was young I said i’d have a boy named Cullen (irish/gaelic for handsome). I’ve always had heads turn when i say that of course asking if it’s from twilight 🙄 Then a girl I’ve wanted Maeve, which now I get asked Hotel Transylvania. I want your opinions overall!! Would you keep the names you’ve always wanted or start considering something else? While we’re here, middle names for Maeve?

I like your choices and think that despite any popularity or links now, they're still very unique, and if you like them, go for it. I see both those connections too but don't see why it should be a problem 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️ there's also plenty of other things I think of but all equally cool 😎 what about Grace as a middle name? We are thinking of using it fof our 2nd and it goes nicely with different names 😊 xx

Girl, I know someone who named their kid Renesmee. If she can do that, Cullen should be fine.

There's only so many people will think that. And even less really care. They either like twilight/hotel Transylvania or don't. Most people who don't won't even comment. So once you vague like those shows too you can smile and nod.

I think Maeve has a life outside of hotel Transylvania but (at least where I live) most people will only have the twilight association for Cullen, so it will be hard to get away from. You might also like Muriel, Caleb, Cade, Cael, Corbin,
