Do ads work on you?

I'm curious because I actively avoid all ads. I see an ad and I refuse to pay attention, or see them as being manipulative and gimmicky. But I always hear how ads impact society, and impact consumerism and culture. I want a localized stat on that, who're the ones apart of that equation 👀👀 Obviously I'm not coming for anyone, you're just clicking a button.

I am so suspicious of everything I see online 😅 but I get ads for like quirky clothing things and sometimes I screenshot them because I think 'i could make that!'

When i see an ad i make a mental note to not buy that product for at least a month because of how much I hate ads

@Isla @Victoria Same to both of you! Super suspicious, and i also out of spite am like "well now i don't even want to buy it. So there, you wasted your ad money." It feels like a small win 🤣
