If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all

Why do some people feel the need to comment insults towards a sensitive post? I'm disappearing for a while, I'll see y'all again when I'm in a better place mentally, I'm still grieving bad & not in the mood to read rude comments about how I'm choosing to memorialize my Dexter đź’”

Perhaps decide with your family how’s best to memorialise your pet 🤗

@Jolo Thank you, we know what we're going to do but I came on here before to ask about which company we should go through for it but my post got a couple rude comments. Good news for me tho, I found another company that's like a perfect combination of the other 2 companies I liked so we're going to go through them for his memorial plush.

People are always going to people. You would think we could all come together as mothers and be nice to each other, at least in this space, but there will always be rude, mean, and nasty people out there. I'm sorry you had people say not nice things to you, especially about pet loss. Some people did not listen to Thumper's line from Bambi: "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all."

People are assholes. Ignore them. ❤️

I'm sorry you had to deal with rude, insensitive people. The internet emboldens people to be their worst selves. I think it's a lovely idea and something that will definitely bring comfort to you and the family.

Hugs friend

It's insensitive completely and I always choose to lead with kindness but sadly people use this platform to project their own pain or insecurities on others. When we ask questions we sadly leave our selves open to the good, bad and ugly! Love begins within ♥️ I wish you a stronger recovery and remember these people are strangers do not allow them to impact you for that contributed in no way to your story. I'm sorry for your loss
