Reporting late to UC
I was in the hospital longer after my c-section and since I’ve just had a baby, I reported my change in circumstances (having first child) to universal credit a day after the assessment period ended. The money has come through today (without child element) and my meeting to prove I’ve had a baby isn’t until tomorrow. Will I get the payment or just miss out on it this month?

Should get back dated I had this and told them then got back dated
@Kayleigh how did you go about doing it? They didn’t mention anything at the meeting, should I put a note in the journal?
@Hannah do I have to make them aware through the journal? Not sure what to do next regarding it!
