Soring purees

I'm new to purees as I didn't do them with my first, except for the odd soup but that didn't work out so doing a combination of purees and blw this time. What is the best way to store/freeze purees if you cook more than baby will eat. How do you manage /rotate these?

I make a load he has for dinner then freeze the rest in ice cube trays once frozen I pop them in bags in the freezer. I then just pick out 2/3 cubes for dinner and warm through until piping hot in the microwave to ensure it's safe and let it cool before he eats. Now he's past the first tastes stage I mix and match a few cubes to make a meal which works nicely so I only cook for him maybe once every 3 days to add to our freezer selection

Same Do 1 lot a week and freeze in deep ice cube trays.

Thank you!
