Help

My 9.5 month old has been amazing with solids and always loved her food. We started with purées, then mashed food and some finger foods. For the past week or two she started spitting her food out and I can’t seem to understand why? She’s doing the same with yogurts. It’s really frustrating bc apart from wasting foods she used to eat very well and I wonder if I’m doing something wrong? Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how long did it last/ what was the cause? Also any advice would be very much appreciated

I forgot to mention that she does not refuse the food. Actually she does accept it but then spits it out straight away 🥲

Could she be teething. My little boy completely stopped for a month when his top 4 came out at the same time. We've had to start all over again

We’ve had the same when teething too - particularly anything cold. I put it down to him trying to put the cold on his gums where the tooth was coming out.

@Khaleda @Holly she actually has the upper teeth cutting through… I didn’t even think abt it because she hasn’t been fussy or anything and she’s still having her 3 bottles per day. I just wonder what should I do because even cold stuff she’s literally spitting out? I mean are 3 bottles of formula enough to sustain her if she’s refusing her normal meals?

My little boy was exactly the same. Are like a dream and was so good with BLW. Then he started teething and he would take it, chew it it whatever and then spit it out. He is a bit better now but still does it sometimes. I’ve put it down to teething x

How many bottles did she have before meals? I can't advice as I BF, and thats on demand. Maybe offer another bottle if you're worried she's not having enough food.
