Bladder issues! 💦

Is anyone else finding they feel the need to go for a wee more often but when they do, it’s just a trickle? The only time i have a ‘proper’ wee is first thing when i wake up, but the rest of the day is no more than a tablespoon each time i swear! I’m not sure if it’s baby laying on my bladder or whether it’s a uti (no other uti symptoms though). I’ll also feel like i need to go still after i’ve just been - annoying!

It’s likely just to be baby. I feel when my boy is pushing on my bladder, he like to use it as a bouncy castle 😂 could also be a uti though. I’d mention this to your midwife and they should check this for you just incase. So important that ur gets caught asap if possible x

I find I could drink the tiniest amount of fluid and need to pee 10 minutes later, so not much is coming out, but I know that baby girl is fully head down and pushing against my bladder hence why I think I need to pee all the time😂 However I would definitely just make an appointment with the gp or your midwife to confirm it isn’t a UTI!xx

Apparently leaning forward and rocking back can help you fully empty the bladder. Yet to try it but sick of getting up in the night for a trickle xx

This sounds like a UTI, best to get checked out!

I can confirm leaning forward or lifting one bum cheek can help 😅

I have this too! I thought it was normal, just assumed baby was low down, I have no pain or anything so don't think it's a uti just annoying 😂

I am having the same experience! I need a wee every 15 minutes and barely anything comes out 😂. Somebody else mentioned their baby is lying face down - I am 22 weeks but have had 4 scans already (I’m obstetrician led) and she always has her head down, presumably pressed on my bladder 😅

I’m the same. Feel like I’m busting then when I finally go I’m like ‘that’s it?!!’ Very annoying. I definitely think baby is pressing on bladder!

Thanks all! Midwife has does a urine sample so hopefully it comes back clear but she said it does sound like an infection & also told me to up my water intake 🙈
