the bottles should be made with a fresh kettle of water each time, to keep it warm and when youre going out use a thermos or get a portable bottle warmer, or what you can do is ask a member of staff for a cup of boiling water and set the bottle in it for a few mins but remember to shake it well and check temp x
What about a bottle insulated holder bag. I was wondering the same thing when we were trying my little boy with allergy milk. We actually had one with our nappy changing bag.
@Katie louise it's only the water, not with fornula in. She's on special milk to needs it be prepared the doctor said
You need the water to be boiling really ( not too hot, but not left out) as it can’t kill the bacteria in the formula, my son was on nutramigen when he was a baby I just made all bottles up for 24 hours and if took it out I would put the bottle in boiling water and would heat it up that way. Easier than taking everything else out!
As the other poster said, you should only mix the water with the formula when it’s 70 degrees or higher in order to sterilise the formula. You could use a Rapidcool or hot shot to make up bottles at the preferred temperature.
You shouldn’t keep it out for more than 2 hours at room temp otherwise you need to chuck it away. Put it in a cooler bag with ice packs - should take around 5-7 mins to heat up with boiling water which you can get anywhere , any shops will do it for you , just take someone to be able to put the boiling water in. Even stoped off at a petrol station and the guy went to the staff room and boiled the kettle for me so I could heat the bottle up!
