Positive placenta previa stories

Looking for some positive stories to keep me sane. I have complete placenta covering cervix at 23 weeks. Good news stories on how’s yours turned out? I have read so many regarding bleeding and pre term delivery.

Hello! I had placenta previa with my first, I kept having small bleeds on and off especially if I overdid it but it was not bad. I was kept a close eye on by my consultant. I was told they would rescan at 36 weeks to see if it had resolved itself enough for a normal delivery. I had a bleed at 31 weeks and ended up being admitted to hospital until I had my daughter at 37 weeks which was the latest they were willing to go to. The c section was fine and my daughter arrived healthy and ok! If you do need to be hospitalised it's for the best for the both of you and it's all worth it in the end! Bleeding is quite common with it unfortunately! All the best for the rest of your pregnancy! X

I was told I had it at my 20 week scan. I then had extra scans at 32 and 36 weeks. I had already decided to go C-Section no matter what as it felt safest for me as I’m not very good with plans changing. It was still covering at the 32 week scan and had completely moved at the 36 week scan. My cesarian was a wonderful experience, really relaxing

Hi there, I had complete placenta previa and also vasa previa. I had a few bleeds between 23-28 weeks. My first two bleeds were relatively small and my third was a bit bigger. I was admitted to hospital for 24-48 hours for monitoring each time. I was told that if I had any more bleeds I would be admitted for the duration of my pregnancy. I was diagnosed with vasa previa at 30 weeks which changed my care plan and I was admitted at 32 weeks until my planned c section date at 35 weeks. If I didn’t have vasa previa the plan would have been to be admitted at 35 weeks with my placenta previa until c section at 36 weeks (unless I had another bleed). It was a horrible, worrying time but I now have a happy, healthy 4 month old and it is now a distant memory!

I had a low lying placenta (not total previa but still requiring a section). It didn’t move but I also had no bleeds at all during pregnancy thank goodness. I had a planned c section at 38+1 and baby girl was healthy.
