Moving to Philly

Hiii! 💝 27 yo FTM SAHW I have a 1 month old baby boy and my husband is being relocated for work. We will be in Philly in 3 weeks. Coming from California and driving the whole way. Any good info to know about the city? Anyone wanna be friends? We will be all alone, away from family. So excited but so nervous!

I was born & raised in philly! I wouldn't say it's horrible but it definitely has its hit or miss areas depending on where you're living. I grew up in South Philly near Pennslanding and I love it there. Philly is a huge melting pot. Center city has amazing restaurants with different cultures. Definitely a lot of museums and history to learn about. You just have to learn about each section of Philly whether it's north, northeast, south, southwest, west, center city etc. But like I said, you have your hit & miss areas. It's not all terrible.
