Child support

Does your partner have to pay child support ? If so how much ? I can’t help but be ticked off that my husband and I work so hard to advance in our careers and as soon as he gets an increase , bm will do anything to try and modify /increase child support . I’m not against him financially support in since it’s his kid but it’s completely frustrating when he pays over $1200 / month and then sd comes over in clothes that don’t fit or there’s always a new need for more money . Bm refuses to work full time because she doesn’t want to give up her “me time” and full time is “too exhausting” . She has no shame in stating that husband and I make more money so we should provide more .

I get this 100% 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m sorry you have to deal with it I know how stressful it can be

Girl!! You are preaching my life in this post. If you ever feel like venting please DM me because I swear you just stated exactly my situation. BM gets way too much to be sending kid over looking like a unkept bum. Always needing more things. Refuses to work Fri-Sun so she can live her best life. Pawns her kid off on everyone. Quit a decent 4 day a week job so she can follow a dream that honestly just isn't going to pan out and everyone knows it. Now she bugging my husband to get kid dental even though in their divorce it specifically says she does dental because it was free with her job and he did medical. I would not care about the insurance thing if she didn't quit this job knowing her kid needed mouth surgery and might need braces for a second time after both of which she would have gotten a huge discount on through her job plus the free dental. 🤦‍♀️ She honestly makes me sick. I could go on for hours but I'll stop here. 🤣

@Sammer my husband pays all insurance and dental etc . Last time she tried to say she needs a couple hundred extra each month so she can buy “girl products.” Pads/tampons do not cost that much . Mind you I’ve been the one buying her those items and sending it home with her when she goes back to her moms ! And then she tried to say for curling irons and such . I know that can get expensive but those are not needed and even if it were that’s not a monthly expense .

That is so annoying!!! I guess I got lucky my step kids are all boys so they don't need the feminine products or the makeup, hair supplies, nail polish stuff that's all really elective. (Not the tampons but you know what I mean.) It's really nice of you to send those back with her. Its a shame her mother won't buy them for her own home. Like doesn't she need a supply for herself so why doesn't she get them for her daughter...
